In order to get the driver license in Canada it is imperative to have at least 16years education. However, there are three stages that you have to pass through to reach this level. At first you are given the handbook which you can find in any book store. Once you have thoroughly studied the book you can further go to the Transportation Ministry to give theoretical G1 exam. Once you have passed this stage you can go for the road test after a year.
- Once you have the G1 license you are given many conditions that are specifically made to help you get some on hand experience before you go on the road.
- When you are driving you should be with someone who has 4 years of G class driving experience.
- You cannot drive on highways if you do, you should be in speed limits.
- Your blood level should be at least 0.00% all the time.
- All the passengers MUST have their seat belts on.
After you have received the G1 permit, you have a chance to go for your road test in 8 months. Once you have passed the road test, you are given G2 license. However, the conditions here are fewer than the G1 license conditions.
